Interiors - Spatial division
As Aurus is bang on Juhu Beach in Mumbai, the designer has given due importance to the seaside. The restaurant is divided into two equal halves; the indoor seating and tine outdoor area overlooking the beach The former includes a seating area wilt tables and a long bar counter that continues till the outside. The area is a niche with ornate sofas facing the bar.

Ambience and feel
In the indoor area, the rich wallpaper, crystal chandeliers, white leather In and carved sofas add a touch of opulence. However, the ,caring an pond-shaped pillars, metallic blue sofa and busy bar have inclinations. Outdoor, the ambience is dominated by the starlit sky and breezy enhance the experience, the designer has left the outside in a combination of clean white fabrics and black furniture on a wooden deck. he highlight of the outdoor seating is a large old-fashioned bed with a canopy frame facing the sea, which is the umm popular 'table' in the restaurant. The seating features a variety of relining mahogany chairs and low divans with lanterns on the tables. Mahn is used as the indoor emphasizes more on baroque, the chandeliers are crystal and the elaborate wallpaper has been imported from Italy. The flooring indoors is Jaisalmer stone with inlay patterns to go with the baroque wallpaper. The diamond pillars are MDF (medium density fiberboard) clad.

Cutting Edge
Since Aurus has DJ nights every Friday, the wooden deck facing the sea makes a splendid open-air dance floor. The bar runs as a continuous single counter from the indoors, through the glass wall to the outdoors making it easily accessible for those enjoying a drink. Hotel guests want, and are being given, more choices for in-room entertainment ? more cable channels, movies, vod, games and high-speed entertainment access. And some hotels go beyond and include high-speed internet access and other web-enabled features to make the business and leisure travellers watch what they want, when they want.
