STAR POWER: Barley grass is
used in many religious ceremonies because the importance of grasses for health
has been known since Vedic times. Wheat grass and barley grass are a rich source
of chlorophyll, which is known as green blood. Several disorders of blood and
skin benefit from the juice of these grasses. And grass is a concentrated source
of nearly three dozen vitamins and minerals and is particularly rich in vitamins
A, C, B1, B2, folic acid and B12. it also contains calcium, iron, potassium,
and chlorophyll. Unlike most plants, barley grass provides all nine essential
amino acids.
PRACTICAL CONSUMPTION: Anaemia can be effectively managed by
dinking a juice of wheat grass and barley grass mixed with lauki juice.
PRECAUTIONS: One glass of wheatgrass or barley grass juice
a day is enough to keep you in glowing good health.
