STAR POWER: Walnuts are packed
with omega 3 fatty acids, which is good for the nervous system and also prevents
inflammatory reactions in the joints and heart. Almonds are a good source of
heart friendly monounsaturated fatty acids and rich in vitamin E which is good
for the hair, skin and eyelashes. They can be consumed safely by diabetics and
young children as allergies are not common. The fiber helps balance insulin.
Chilgoza pine is very rich in phosphorus and other minerals and micronutrients,
very good for weight gain when it is eaten together with figs and honey or dates
and honey.
PRACTICAL CONSUMPTION: Pop two or three at a time every day.
PRECAUTIONS: Tree nuts have to be taken in moderation as an
